Different character , softer wide open I guess around same than your 8,5cm Helios 40.

Mine is the same 1943 made, I guess it was originally Exakta mount
but came with Zenit M39 mount, but I use it with M39->EF adapter.

It looks like this...


@f2 with EOS_5D


100% crop (I would say it is fairly sharp despite one year older than me. Very Happy)

I think perfect portrait lens, don't need to be sharper at all.
