We are now on the ground of island of MAUI,
this is MAUI sea shore from the above. This particular shore is
famous for Surf Competition.

We went round trip of MAUI island, beautiful place.

Another black sand beach

And black sand and rock (lava rock of course)

Down town of small village called Hana

A large hibiscus flower at pee-stop (of small shop)

Further south of this island, very desolate place. There is a tombstone of Charles Lindbergh, who was representative of "isolationist group", no wonder. Very Happy

Eastern part of this island

Relatively dry part, cattle farm

And unpaved winding road (to return to out hotel)

The end of our trip; all were shot by Leica M8 and CZ G-Biogon 21mm F2.8 M-mount, all were also by guess focus since my M8 has broken range finder.
I also carried Bessa-R with a good CV Heliar 50/2 L-mount, but not developed films yet, this is later attraction. Very Happy

Lovely to see pictures which are not of the typical travel-brochure variety.
Thanks for sharing.

This must be Ho‘okipa Beach(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho'okipa). While I'm not a windsurfer, or even a true fan of windsurfing, there's a video a friend of mine did post-production audio for many years ago. It's called The Impact Zone - a Windsurfing Rockumentary, and features some amazing footage of the excitement & perils of the sport.
