Yes, but when was the last time you needed more than 10MP? _________________ Fujifilm X-Pro2 / Fujifilm X-T1 / some Sonnar & Takumar lenses |

That's what I usually say, Orio. But today I have shot with a good friend's 7D and I was abolutely amazed by it. Excellent handling, great built and fantastic images. Even at ISO1000 really low noise!
BTW, the 15-85 IS is an amazing lens. The best EF-S lens I have aver used!
Much, I mean, MUCH better than the EF-S 17-85 IS. Even way better than the Sigma 17-70. I have never seen any APS-sensor-lens that performes better than this new Canon, I have to admit. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

I'm really interested but I don't think it has the micro AF adjust like the more expensive models, I would love this feature, you can tune the AF to each different lens you own to eliminate back and front focus.
If it had the AF adjust I would give it very serious consideration as a replacement to my 350D but I just cannot afford to go higher up in the range! _________________ - Dave

Indeed sometimes you can increase pixel density and still get better high iso results through better sensor design and software processing.
The 14mp Canon G10 has less noise at iso 400 than my old G3 has at iso 200 and the G3 only has 4mp! _________________ - Dave
