Nice sun a bit in this morning -- some usual kitchen shots Smile

I used two Paragon ext. tubes for C/Y - 13mm, 21mm and combination of these two..

Thanks guys!

Yes, vivid colours are vivid by themselves - Zeiss' sign ..

@ Orio == well, the lemon is more orange than yellow but I left it as is Smile

yes - those colours are fascinating for such a small lens! Smile

in my view -- let's give it a name -- apolike-tessar Smile

Tessar is one superb formula a la Zeiss and it's magic.

nice series, great colors
the 45 is a sharp lens but it seems that with tube it get soft

it looks very sharp to me. Mostly, very clear.

Stan are you applying any noise reduction in Lightroom? or zero it (comes applied by default)?

PostPosted: Fri Feb 19, 2010 3:26 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Orio - In most cases 99.99 % - default noise reduction --

I would say -- I am not going higher that LightRoom offers ..

The smoothness are propably caused by longer tubes and very close distances

i.e. -- 21+13mm = 34 mm which VERY CLOSE and the Tessar doesn't have a chance like on the picture number 4 from the top..

1) such intimate ext tube shots
2) why do I want coffee?
3) why do I want an orange?
4) in the last set, I love the leaf and #2 - why do I think it's Easter Smile

Excellent color and sharpness where it's called for, you have the photography eye for sure.

Confused Crying or Very sad oh, and the next to last pic: sheer envy, I've tried to take such a picture of berries for years now, and not one is as good as this.

Fantastic color and compositions ,Trifox !!!

Very contrasty lens I would say the Tessar . It's not so much the sharpness but the contrast that gives that clarity.
