Hell yeah, poppin' fresh colors, comp, DOF, the whole shmear. What
lightcatcher/lens did you use?

Superb! Love to have this blown up to 24"x 36" size for the wall.

The Canon 85/1.8. I wanted to give AF a second chance at the Carnival. The results confirmed those of my first try some years ago: I got more trashbin pictures from the AF lens than from my Vario-Sonnar which was on the other camera.
Promise mommy not to tell Laughing but the AF of this lens is slower than my manual focusing. It makes mistakes also.

Thanks! But I'm afraid the IQ will not be very good at that enlargement. These plastic beasts are just not up to the task Wink

Now I regret that I could not take this photo with a really good lens. It was the chance of a lifetime - or almost Wink

The best camera/lens to use is the one in your hands, you caught a
perfect moment! Cool

You tell him Villiam.
Orio this is a super nice take.
The better lens would not change the emotion of the shot and that is the strongest aspect.
Nice one man! Very Happy
