Have been experimenting with soap and macro. These are some of the results, all shot with the SMC Pentax-A 100/4 macro.

Beautiful. There is something poetic in that.

I can't see these often enough - beautiful indeed, reminds me of my own experiments many decades ago. Crossed polarizers works best actually ... right? Wink

Thanks a lot! These are flat soap bubbles in a frame. I've got a horrible picture of the set-up, but on the web there is a good link: soap bubble macrophotography. I did it in more or less the same way, though I did not use a softbox, but a reflector.

On my blog I explored the stages of a soap bubble's life, hence the titles. And yes, I noticed the resemblance with the work in a fertility laboratory, although I hope the people working there don't have to watch semen in this kind of colours for hours. It made my head hurt... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

If you really want a bigger one Tharos, let me know..Very Happy

Here's a temporary link for those that want a bigger version, e.g. for the use as wallpaper. Way too busy, imo Very Happy. I'll keep the link for, let's say one week, and after that period I will remove the pic. It's too large, it consumes too much of my web space... Very Happy Very Happy

Copy it in your browser and save the picture with a right-click of your mouse.

EDIT: I see you don't have to copy the link.

I love abstract photos such as these. I play around with this type of shooting quite often.

Nice work... Smile
