I got a new (or actually old ) manual focus lens yesterday - I've not yet adjusted my signature to reflect this.
I forgot the name of the lens - can you help me?

A much longer lens - it is a proper tele lens. |

The amount of axial CA suggests some sort of tele.
I'm guessing it's not a medium but something longer.
Is K20D full-frame? If it weren't for the not-so-wild ducks over
here I'd guess it's 200mm, but with tame ducks it could be shorter.
edit: OK Anu mentioned it's a "proper tele lens". 300mm? |

K20d is a 1.5 crop camera.
Yes, 300mm is the right focal lenght - it is shot wide open. I wonder what lens this is?
And yes, the ducks are not too wild |

Yes, it is CZJ 300/4 Sonnar - however, it is not the one on my signature, but a new copy. It's a almost-mint zebra-version. The glass is in flawless condition, and it sure shows in the quality. |

Yes, I guess so - what I like the the bokeh (apart fromt the axial CA) quality - the way the OOF feathers are handled and how the (barely visible) bokeh highlights are rendered. Oh, and resolution isn't bad either
Vastly undervalued lens in the market, IMHO. |
