Here a couple of local flower shots using Provia in conjunction with the CV 90/3.5 SL. No special processing, pretty much as the film and lens rendered the images.

Daisy Family
CV 90/3.5 SL
Provia
Similar to a shot I took last year with the Takumar 55/1.8.
First blooms this season, in a protected outdoor covered flower bed.

Drooping Poppy
CV 90/3.5 SL
Provia
Another shot similar to last year, taken in the Battle Point Greenhouse.

Superb Larry! Even from a common, simple subject.

Thank you to all of you!

Mo-Fo, I'll try to find the other shot and put it up for comparison.
That is actually a great idea from you!

My main delight here is that the Provia + CV 90/3.5 produced images
that need NO sharpening or other Photoshop changes! That means
my images from the CV 90/3.5 will not take up any more time, other
than the scan itself! And to me, the saving of time is precious.

The transparencies from both of these are stunning at the light box.
I'm thinking of enlarging at least the Daisy image, not because it's
an image that is worthy of enlargement, but because of the accutance
of the CV 90/3.5. I want to see how well it enlarges off of the
35mm transparency. I will go "over the top" and try a 20x28 just to
see if I can detect any strong degradation. Surprised

I'm late, but ESPECIALLY like the daisies, beautiful colors and nice crisp
focus!

Larry, I always look forward to seeing your pictures.
The level of clarity and color saturation is always top-notch,
and your compositions are simply outstanding.
These two are no exception.

#1 is good and would also sell well as stock image IMO.
