Let me introduce to you Monica's new cat, Attila:

He was rescued from the street by Monica's sister, Cristina. He had a dirty collar on his neck, so he was out for at least one month, which means he was abandoned when he was very young, probably by some bastard man who wanted to leave for vacation and did not know what to do with his cat.

I and Monica have decided to name him Attila in honour of our Hungarian friend Very Happy

Photo taken in very difficult situation, very low light, not superfast lens (Kaleinar-5N), 1600 ISO on EOS 400D. I had to denoise the picture with Ninja.

Handsome boy! Doesn't look all that old, either. Wonder how Melissa
is taking all this, or is he staying with Cristina?

He's with Monica, Monica lives in Parma (32 km from here).
We'll have to face this problem when we will move into my father's house, but we have to make restoration works, so it will not be before at least one year.
And in my father's house they'll also find Bonnie (my father's cat) Shocked

Ahhhhhhhhh... So you'll be living in a "cat house", eh? (oNeutral

Well, my father was really a dog person, but his two dogs can not accept that he's not there anymore and they bark all night, we received angry phone calls from the neighbours and so we had to take them away from there. Currently they are in a dog's hotel, but it costs too much for our finances. We are searching for a good person who would like to keep them in a garden. They are used to live in a garden, they can not live in an apartment.

But a good straight on shot Orio. I look forward to seeing more shots as this cat grows up with you.

Thanks, I don't know however how much I can photograph him because Monica's apartment is small and with not much light, so normally it's Monica who comes here in the weekends, not the other way around.

Well, from my experience cats like windows. So keep a watch for that as far as lighting goes. And tell Monica to bring Attilla Jr* for her weekends with you. Or is that not an option?
*BTW, I had to call him Jr because Sr runs this board and it didn't type out right saying "And tell Monica to bring Attilla..." Laughing

Well, I need to consult a cat expert about the best way to put them together. Like you know, while dogs are pack animals, cats are not. And are most jealous of their territtory. I am afraid to cause Melissa a shock if I bring Attila Jr. here. Also because Attila Jr. is a hyperactive cat, while Melissa is a very quiet cat.
I already mixed cats of different origins and ages when I was living with my parents, but we had the garden there, so what happened is that basically the cats were living outside and coming inside only for eating or when it was raining. When you have a garden you can manage cat conflicts better. inside an apartment, I fear some fierce cat fights Shocked

He's completely black, he looks like a Mikro-Panther Razz
When there is little light, and he has his eyes closed, you can not see the features in the face, like nose, mouth, eyelines.
