Yes, Olympus lenses always had a great reputation, at least here. In Italy, in the Seventies, Olympus were the lenses that normal people could not afford. Normal people used to go for Canon FD or Nikon, also very good lenses, but Olympus were reputed to be a step above, don't know if true or false. _________________ Orio, Administrator

In any case don't forget that when shooting with macro lenses bokeh is very often better than when shooting with normal lenses. The extremely closeup distance makes everything else on the background completely melted together. _________________ Orio, Administrator
