If you mean the blue heron:

Especially during the winter months some wild herons visit the peguin reserve very often to catch some forage fish. In common they become very trusting and if you keep quiet you can get very near to them.

best shots ive seen yet with the flek, which before this series, i wasnt so impressed with.

Oh you ment the flek Wink

Yes for those who don't know the Flek, it gives you the possibility to get very close. Its min. focus distance is about 20cm.
If I want to go up close I prefer the Flek compared with Distagon or Elmarit 35.
Of course the frog and the fishes were behind glass, I jused used a rubber hood to avoid reflections.
