They are sooo hard to find!

I'm looking for one in excellent condition with a 80mm f2 lens...

Anyone care to sell me this thing of beauty?

Don't think anyone's got a Norita here AFAIK and it's rarity might make it awkward to repair if it needed it and you wanted to use it.

That's if you find one...

Here's a comparison between it and the Pentacon Six:
http://www.pentaconsix.com/Norita.htm

IMO if you want a known good reliable medium format user SLR styled similar to a 35mm SLR and that is more likely to work out of the box, I'd look at the Pentax 67 series.

I have a Pentacon Six TL kit and while my P6 does not suffer from the frame spacing issue that a lot of users report, the fact that these reports exist, must say something as they cannot all be wrong.

There is also the Kiev 60 which has it's share of reported problems too but is apparently easier to put right than the P6. It also shares the same mount as the P6 so you can use both Russian and East German lenses on either body.

Here's a calibration guide which suggests the steps one might need to take if considering a Kiev:

I could purchase one locally a few months ago. Maybe I should keep my eyes open for you...

The spacing issues in the P6 are 99% related to people that cannot rightly load the film on the spool. The spool have to completely click into.

=O Awesome!

The reason for the Norita 66 over the Pentacon and Kiev is namely for its lens at f2.. and the fact that it is a rare bird, it's always more fun using cameras that aren't too common.

But yeah, i'll keep a look out on ebay too, seems I missed one 8 days ago while I was away. Though before that there hadn't been one for a while.

Thanks guys.

I just got one Smile

It's the one you're referring to, I believe (won on Dec. 22nd).

Ebay is where it's at; recently there was a run of 3 bodies that went up one after the other. I took one, one of my Flickr buddines took another. Good luck Wink
