Bill, the first of the leaves pic is terrific - what great colours!
Too bad for the heavy grain - perhaps you may try a pass of Noise Ninja.

I also love the contrast in the first of the two B&W conversions: very effective and it matches the atmosphere.

Thanks, Orio, I changed that one to the noise ninja version. Still trying to
learn how to use the Andy plugin, the 2nd bdub had flare from the
storefront windows that didn't help matters.

Rather than start another thread, these two are from the Vivitar XC-3
using the 4/20 CZJ Flektogon I got from Attila:

Lots of bargains in the US, but the last HEXANON AR 80-200mm F4 went for £45 inc for buy it now, in the UK.

Paid 36,00 Euro for mine, near unused condition with very small signs of use.
Looks like new.

The years pass, but the 4/20 Flek is a hard beast to beat. it may not be sharp as other 20mm lenses, but it's in a class of it's own. It's images look as natural as a 35mm or 50mm lens.

Great images Bill.

Beautiful shoots, Bill ! You can make magic with plain color film shoots!

Thanks for your comments, guys! Smile

Rolf, I'm sure you will like this lens. Wink

Orio and Attila, I had this lens tucked way in the back of the wooden
armoire I keep my equipment and forgot that I had this lens! Embarassed
I think its sharpness is adequate, and the close focusing is a particular
treat.

Thanks again.

Bill

Well it's a lot cheaper than this zoom:-

Three bids in, in the last 3 secs of auction ending

Never owned an Angenieux so no idea of IQ - anyway the price difference is enormous. Maybe that the prices for Hexanons will rise up due to the new adapers

Hope to see some pics of yours using this lens with the G1.
