Today in office I just scolded someone who have spelled my name wrongly for 3 times, now I am doing it to Tair.

It should be newer, yes. But don't take my word for granted because I am not a Tair expert.
Anyway the letter "A" in the naming of Soviet lenses has a meaning but unfortunately I currently don't recall what meaning  (I used to know...)

The "A" series of lenses have interchangeable mounts ("A" = adapter ???). You sometimes see a complete Tair 11A "set" with M42, M39 and Nikon F mounts.
