You definitely should try to get one. This lens is fun.
(And with about € 120,- , new, not too expensive for such an effect, I think.)

Yes, right it has beautiful color rendering.

Looking very good! Did you do any post processing?

PostPosted: Sun Sep 09, 2007 5:51 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Don't think so they are look naturals.

Thank you.

Always nice that someone else like my pictures.

Shot i RAW. Converted in CS3, all settings on auto, except +10 saturation (my default). A little sharpening.

Yes, they look very natural! I'm trying to learn and I would like my pics look natural too.

+10 saturate is a good trick I set in my camera more saturation than default

Beautiful series, and #5 is an absolute winner.

Got to get a Zenitar before I get too old.

I've joined your fans club!, nice pictures.#5 it's outstanding.
And I'll be looking to the Zenitar as well...
Some local colleagues are using the Peleng, but I found too extreme the effect with such a short lens.
Did you some "unfish" the shots, or are as taken by the camera?
Good work and beatiful place...
Best regards,
Jes.

Thanks.

No defish or cropping has been made to the Zenitar pictures. You lean fast when and how to control the effect (a little).

Zenitar is a great lens and mine is not perfect, so go for it if you like Very Happy

One more to show the effect.

I see, if you want to get it flat, you have to keep the horizon on the center of the lens, (and crop afterwards if you need to).
But sometimes this "fishy" aspect gives more dramatism to the picture.
I like that last one as well. Besides the curved horizon, the details are fine, this lens seems to be quite sharp. And colors show natural. Well done!.
Best regards,
Jes.
