I would like to trade my spare 24mm f/3.5 S-M-C Takumar. It's in a EXC++ shape. I would have called it minty if not for the slight paint loss around the front lens rim (because of putting the lens cap on and off). Very smooth focus (it's a Takumar after all!), clean aperture blades and very snappy too. There's no dust inside that I can see but I'm sure there must be some. Comes with the proper Asahi front and back caps.

Possible trades I'm interested in:

- 20mm f/4.5 S-M-C Takumar
- 20mm f/2.8 CZJ Flektogon (M42)
- SMC Pentax 18mm f/3.5
- SMC Pentax 30mm f/2.8

You can see the lenses I already have in my sig. I'm not really interested in the longer focal lengths (>200mm).

If a trade does not work out I'll consider selling the lens.

Pics to follow later this week Smile

For those who didn't get it I would like to show a few pictures of the lens. Always nice to not only read about it but to see it too. Wink

I've included only the links as the pictures are wider than 900px. Enjoy!

Thank you for the "very nice fellow" Embarassed but the seller is indeed really a very nice fellow !

Thanks for the coffee. Enjoyed the day at your beautiful country. Unfortunately I missed the Queen for some test pics with the new lens. She visited also your town this morning.

Instead of the Queen here another flower in my garden as a first quick test shot. Wink

Thanks again and nice to met you.

You're welcome Smile

Rolf, I see that you also use Absolute sharpening and Photoshop. Am I right? Do you shoot in JPEG or RAW (CR)?

Hi Peter,

I have at present the following workflow

In general I shot in RAW converted in ACR (CS3 on the MAC, CS4 on PC) with some adjustments, then I use some plug-in tools from TOPAZ LABS depending what is neccessary. Then absolute sharpening and from time to time then an additional slight sharpening with the Canon DPP 3.6.2. and conversion to the final size.

Sometimes I use DxO 5.x mainly to make some lens corrections.

Sometimes I try the "Mark Adamus Sharpening Technic" as well.

congratulations Rolf..

seen this too late, the Tak 24/3.5 and a 85mm Takumar are the lenses I am hunting for, but a 85mm already is reserved for me... Wink

Thanks Rolf. I asked this bedcause your photo looks a little too digital to me. I wanted to know if this was caused by your workflow or something else. Maybe you can post some more examples (in another topic)? The 24mm Tak is a very good performer!
