Peter, those shots are excellent! Proper 1960s Britain
OK, I just shot my lovely girlfriend in the kitchen. This one is at f4, because that's what the lens is stuck at and I've lost the one that's stuck at f2.8
No PP, just white balance (nasty energy efficient lights!!), hand held at 1/25th second

Set the aperture to f11 and give the lens a bang on the table. Works every time for me!
