Hi Alex,
What is the state of developing Contax-G lens to m4/3 adapter?
Just curious,,,,

Yes Attila, I know he is somewhere in China now.
I just post it before I forget it while I have still remembered it.
(I am getting older and more and more impatient these days.
By the way, I have not received M42->EF adapter with a flange.) _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

sorry for the late replies.
I have been in China recently and did not have access to the forum. Somehow it is blocked
perhaps Attila should find a way ...
concerning the Contax G1 to m4/3 adapter, i have been pushing these, but due to the higher priority of the other xx to m4/3 adapters, only recently it has been put in the to-do list.
MinoltaAF to m4/3 adapter should be easy, i believe this could be done in 2 weeks time.
I don't know where Jinfinance get their adapters, but i am convinced that some of their sources are the same as mine.
Perhaps i should hire a guy to sell/pack/post these parts for me _________________ No longer member , please don't try to contact to him |

Try entering the URL in the box at http://12345proxy.com. Might work.
Or any other webproxy thats available to the public. Such as http://vectroproxy.com/
Other then that, try to find an open proxy outside china that is not blocked. And set your browser to use that. _________________ My homepage, all manual shots |

Thanks Alex.
When this G->m4/3 adapter is coming, I may consider to get EP-1 or
upcoming m4/3 camera. Converting G lenses to M mount is rather
expensive and no FF rangefinder YET.
Rumour says Leica is going to announce M9, and
Zeiss is under FF rangefinder development. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Orio, it is still a rumour level though.
Sony might involve with this "new rangefinder" from Zeiss,
however no one knows who makes the body. Sony may supply
new Exmore CMOS sensor to Zeiss, this sensor is quite good for
low angle incoming light, so it might be very good for rangefinder camera.
Go and take a look at "zeiss rumour" by googling,
yes there is zeiss rumour site these days. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Hurry everyone to grab the G-lenses whatever they are while they are still
reasonably low price now.
Quick eBay search tells me >
G-Sonnar 90/2.8 ~$200 (lot of people say the best of bunch, late Grazel designed)
G-Biogon 28/2.8 ~$280
G-Planar 45/2 hard to find, currently under $20 at eBay (will go up soon)
G-Hologon is still too expensive (usually $1,600 at low)
G-Planar 35/2 is rare, hard to find but wont fetch a high price (least popular
lens among G-lenses, but I like it the most personally)
G-Biogon 21/2.8 Arguably the still best 21mm lens(?!) for 135 format, hard to find
And G-35~70 zoom, this one is $450 ~ $700 pricey zoom, even f5.6 at the long end
at KEH
90/2.8...$115 ~ $170
45/2......$80 ~ $290
35/2......$210 ~ $310
28/2.8...$100 ~ $400
21/2.8...$600 ~ $700
16/8.....$1369 (not a bad price considering M-mount Hologon 15/8 is fetching $15,000)
35-70....$400 ~ $420 _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.
