There must have been a mix-up when the lady handed me an envelope of
rolled-up clear film over a week ago. Today I bring in some color rolls for
CVS to do, and the lady hands me this envelope, saying they couldn't scan
it and there's no charge. Here's a few from the roll, scanned at 2400dpi
on the Epson 4490:







Exakta 500 using a very short extension tube on the cat and flower pics,
either CZJ 2.8/50 Tessar, or 2/58 Biotar.

Thanks, Orio, it was quite a surprise to see these shots I thought were all
lost.

I'll be reshooting the bog sometime soon. It is quite a large one, across
the Tennessee river from Decatur. Will use my Koni Omegas for sure.

One time, CVS decided XP2 was old-style B&W film and therefore they sent it out to Kodak for development.

Hexi, good luck with this film, thanks for your comments.

Nesster, I found out the reason CVS couldn't scan these is the XP2 has a
clear not orange base. They would have to change the settings on their
scanner and I'm sure the girls that work the machine were told to not fool
with the settings. Kodak BW400CN they could do cuz it has the orange base.

The first b&w "special" film that i tried was a SFX200, i wanted to try infrared ! was my second devloped film with good results. But few months later i tried the efke IR and it was a total mess.

so i think the XP2 would cause no trouble

Hexi, looking forward to seeing your shots with this film!

Rino, all three were shot with the Exakta 500, but next time it will be
with the Koni Omega. I will take both of them one will be loaded with
Provia 100F, the other with Efke 50 BW film. Since I now have a cable
release, can go with very slow shutter speeds. Thanks for your comments.
