I went swimming yesterday at our local river and happened to see over the river, in a tree branch, a hummingbird in it's nest!



I've never seen one still or in it's nest either.

I saw the hummingbird fluttering around in the tree. That caught my eye, then it landed in it's nest!
It was less than 5 meters away so I took a few steps closer. The 100mm that I had on my camera, which happened to be in my hand, was perfect.

(Sometimes the magic works)
