Hi everybody,

I wanna say "Hello!" for the first time in this forum, and bring with me the first results of my first manual lense ever.

Thanks to Peter (Spotmatic) for permission to use his frame idea!

If anybody is curious about my image titles, a short explanation:

I don´t want to tell you in the image title what you already see, I think its not necessary - because you see it. I tell you what you can not see in the image, but what belongs to the scenery if you would enlarge the frame. To inspire your fantasy...

Btw... shooting with a Sony a350 with M42 adapter ring.

All pictures taken withCarl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 1.8/50 at f1.8.

1. english title: "Snails"

2. english title: "Three Dwarfes"

3. english title: "Washing Pile"

Hi, Nico! Welcome and enjoy your stay.

Nice shots! The Pancolar is a fine lens.
And I like the idea with the titles.

Thank you!

Why don´t I see the pics in my original post? Can you explain what I did wrong?

edit: now they are there. Strange...

Nico welcome. What a terrific introduction. You started off on the right foot with the lens, and you have produced extremely fine samples of your "eye"
