Hard to choose but I think #1 shades it for me. Cool

Really stunning Orio, both of them. I think I might just prefer #1, but a hard call

I definitely prefer #1 if I could see it poster size. The crop is nice because
I can see more detail in the backlit couple. You were definitely there at
the right time, Orio! Cool

Thanks guys. I am very happy of this image! Bill the second one is not a crop is a different photo. I took it because I was afraid that the subject was not clear enough to justify the title. Anyway I also consider #1 to be the photo of choice. Smile

I love both!!

-- it's hard to choose a winner! Smile

I think that the first one works better but the second one is more emotional Smile

great..

I like #1:

1. I know the source of the strange light

2. The shadows of the couple contrast better.

If the title is " The couple", this makes me search all the frame in #1 [this is very good but trivial in #2]

What a magic moment you did catch!.
Congrats, Orio, is one of the best compositions I've ever seen.

Regards,

Jes.

I chime in with a vote for #1 also... I like the scale of it.

Like the other folks, I say you have captured a wonderful moment and did a really nice job with the composition.

When I was browsing the gallery, this exact picture attracted me, just like the girl with braided hair.

I like the tightness in number 2, and the wholesome of number one. Does the picture need to be in portrait format? Perhaps a square format by removing/cropping-out the bottom portion of number 1 like you did for number 2. Can you do that and post it here so that we have a 3rd choice? Very Happy

I think I am enjoying 6X6 too much that I am beginning to see in square. Laughing
