Sorry for the noise (super high ISO) and for the poor colours. There was those horrible sodium lamps. White Balance is impossible. With many pictures I just choose to go B&W. But for this one I wanted to show the nice chestnut patterns on the falcon's feathers (for what is possible).

The head, beak, and eye are in perfect focus on the peregrine, nice
work. Looks like ISO 400 or 800 film... Wink

yes, focus perfect, big luck I admit !! Very Happy
Not easy to focus there even with the Katzeye screen.

I had to make some Noise Ninja reduction as the 50D 1600 ISO is not faultless... Rolling Eyes

It's a shame the falconer's hand is on the jesses in the foreground, but
putting the bird on a perch in the mews, they would probably want to
hood it. Still a usable image, Orio.

Actually, I also have pictures without the hand! Very Happy
I choosed the hand because it seemed nice to me the concept of the contact between the man and the bird... but I will process also one of the pics without the hand so you will tell me what you think!
