+1

I hope the store near my place will carry it. I would really like to try this out, especially the potential to use MF lenses.

With the NX announcement on the horizon (actually just a few weeks), micro-4/3 system just doesn't have much appeal to me right now, in terms of mounting manual lenses. If the NX can mount M/L mount lenses, then the only advantage MFT will have is C-mount lenses, but their prices have shot through the roof, it's ridiculous.

Lools great. Very good for street photography. Maybe it will come in all black version too. As lens there are the one launched together with the same mount sharing Panasonic/Lumix G1/GH1 among them being a 20mm f:1.7 prime small lens Smile
As a plus can be mount on it M and LTM mount lenses. For the M bayonet there are already two manufacturers : Cosina and Oly I think , but regarding the last one I'm not sure.

It's cute but, with no EVF this camera has no advantage over the pany.

I'm with RH on this one. The Samsung cam with 50% larger sensor will be the shiz if it can mount L/M lenses.

the Samsung NX seems technically superior ...
'only' 1.5x crop versus 2x crop for the Panasonic/Oly
Bigger CMOS
...

however, i did not like the design of the NX protototype?, it does not seem to be 'simple' and it could be smaller ...

perhaps i should just wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation NX Rolling Eyes

Yeah, maybe. Smile
I was thinking about an alternative to the M8... At least the size seems attractive. The price isn't for the poor either.

But still, I think it looks interesting as a second/backup camera.

I thought too you did think about M8. It makes to very interesting 20mm register distance.

That beige leatherette pad over white chassis is an aesthetical fist on the eye.

I can't understand how, with all the money they invest in R&D, they can't also hire a decent designer.
