Chemicals online

Almost impossible to find revealing chemicals online.
Only one e-shop in Italy sells T-Max (another one in theory does but they're out of stock and no idea when a new stock arrives)
To buy the Rodinal, I had to buy from Germany from apparently the only Ebay seller that does sell it in the EU. Nobody seems to sell Rodinal in Italy anymore.

I thought that supply of film was getting scarce, but that is nothing compared to chemicals.

To name only the big ones shipping abroad...

A nice alternative to T-Max developer is to mix up some Beutler. A classic old Zeiss receipe that works wonderful on T-Max and Delta films Very Happy

I dislike Rodinal, but there are a few clones around. Is Fomadon R09 any easier to find in your country? It came into existence in the space of time when Agfa stopped making it and then A&O starting to make it again. I am told it is very very similar.

It's really not too difficult to find this stuff in Germany.
Always check "Foto Brenner" http://www.fotobrenner.de/
They offer almost everything you need.

Actually, if you want to have some REAL fun, why not try some coffee or vitamin C?

I am serious Shocked

To develop?

I used to sepia some prints with coffee years ago (never really liked it). I did not know that it's possible to also process with coffee.

Oh yes, it's fabulous! I used to have kids come from a local school when I was in a newspaper lab. We would get them to take photos with an old Nikon, then take them in the darkroom to develop it with coffee. They loved it!

If you use coffee and vitamin C in the right quantities, you get get negs on C41 film that printed quite blue, a little like cyanotype (if you were lucky) or with some other strange colour cast Laughing
