Now I know why I'll keep it. Testing shots, I think it is a very good copy.

Canon A1
Gossen Digisix
Flektogon 35/2.4
Sensia 100
Scanning by Fuji minilab
PP: Little Sharpening

Very nice pics. I see in the 4 a great potential to work with in order to operate the game between the lines.

The 2 and 3 are very attractive too.

Thank you all.

Yes, flek is a keeper. Landscape, macro, road photography can be the lens choice for.

A1 is perfect, also.

poilu, thank you. Unfortunately, I am going digital soon but slides shooting will be "my way of thinking". A1 will work anyway, A1 never be rusted. Very Happy

One of my favorite lenses on my 400D.
Sharp from 2.8 onwards and close-ups are awsome.
Always in my photobag.

Very lovely shots from a very lovely lens - it's the type of lens you should be both happy and privileged to own and keep, and perhaps even pass on to the next generation Wink

You bet! With 16mm extension tube, I used 400D + Flek 35/2.4 and shot this in late this afternoon.

I feel the same with all 35mm lenses. It's the ideal focal lenght for me. I always said that I could have only my Distagon 1.4/35 and still be a happy photographer.

BTW nice pictures. I like the framing also (although I usually don't go for this type of framing with shadow effect, but yours is very sober and actually enhances the pictures)

@djmike. I bet you shaved the "flower" to get the photo.... Laughing

@Orio, you are the one who answered my "question" about disagreement.

So, distagon 35/1.4 is the next big step. West vs East, better QC, better glass and all that "stuff".

Easter celebration, the smell comes from "kokoretsi". A snack before the big "one". Laughing

Now I know, no more 35 searching, no more 35 collecting/testing. I' ve decided to spend no money for other 35 but wait for a Carl Zeiss Distagon 2.0/35 ZE.

I choose the way to the end at once/ one move/ one step. It is a cheaper way Very Happy

Have you read anything about the production of 35 ze?

How does focus confirmation work [on 5dii for example] without focus split screen? Any link?

I realized that there a con. No aperture ring......
