The flowers in #1 are very nice, but I find the bokeh a bit disturbing.

Is it a Tamarisk in #2?

Can't help you with the plant identification Orio, my best description of the tree is that it's a weeping conifer of some sort. I suppose I'll have to make a return visit in the not too distant future and take a photo of the tree for you to identify.

Beautiful colors in the first, but agree about the bokeh.
