There are various sizes and types of Dogwoods here in the Pacific Northwest. Here are a few, taken with various cameras and lenses.

this first image is of an old cedar stump that was full of interesting things, such as the Net Spider webs, the Dwarf Blueberry plant, and the red leaves of a fading Canadian Ground Dogwood.

All three images are perfect compositions, Larry.
Somehow the Yashica Mat image has something more for me. I just love the contrast and the colours.

They are in full bloom here too in the park opposite the street.

I like the last one for its composition, but generally the second one works best for me Smile

I can almost taste the beautiful colour reproduction Very Happy

I'm a bit jealous. If I had taken the first photo in particular, it would have just looked like a tree stump Confused
