This shot was from my camp on the dividing ridge between two pristine river valleys.

This was late summer (September) of this past year. I was lucky enough to have many square
miles of high country all to myself for 9 days! One of my most rewarding trips of my life, simply
for the solitude and pristine grandeur.

No trails, just wandering the meadows.

The sun in September starts to stay low on the zenith, producing the fine golden colors.

Late Afternoon Light on Ridgeline
Mamiya RB67 Pro
Mamiya-Sekor 90/3.8
Fuji Reala

"Majestic" is the first word that comes to mind, thanks for sharing another
grand view Larry, and the V700 delivered the goods!

I love Reala film.

That's just stunningly beautiful Shocked

I think I need to get off my ass and have four weeks holiday in the United States. If this is the scenery you have there, I am really missing out Confused

Beauty shot Larry!
I said before. Washington turism should hire you to get more bodies into the parks. Although I suppose that is a national park Laughing

That is a lot of Kit to carry up there Shocked

You need a sherpa. Maybe even a pack goat as a mule would never make it Laughing

THANKS all of you! It's great to hear from you, and get your views on any particular image. I read all of your responses with great interest and appreciation.

To comply with the request, I'll put a 1940 x 1694 up on the Oversized Gallery soon. Wink

Outstanding capture, Laurence.
I'm often envious of your locale, especially when you so generously
share such wonderful scenes with us.

Great shot, i like that combination of shadows and highlights on the land caused by the clouds.
