I haven't seen one either. It is for a Kiev-10 like this http://cameras.alfredklomp.com/kiev10/ - quite an interesting camera, but the lenses for it might be rather hard to find.

Yes, seems to be an own version for Kiev. Following the logo, this lens was manufactured by arsenal in Kiev. The other version were produced in Krasnogorsk on Zeiss sonnar machinery first, later in Lytkarino by LZOS.

At first glance, it doesn't even seem to have the preset ring.

We see that even to guys like us who know some lenses, there will always be some surprises. That is what keeps our hobby so interesting. Wink

Rings are not present, the diaphragm/apertura is put from the camera/body.

Yes the lens is in a special bayonet mount for Kiev 10/11/15.
the aperture is set by a knob on the camera.

Kiev 10-15 stuff (bodies, all sorts of lenses) were sold for peanuts here at Finnish auction site for about a year ago. No-one wanted them. You could have bought the whole set for 50 €. Shame I didn't understand it then.

Yes, that's where I saw it as well.

Probably wasn't around for long, being an intermediary model. But it did exist , was sold and shared the same mount with the Kiev 10.

Thanks for the information. It is a prototype. "... By 1970 the model prototype" Kiev-11 "(the photo below see), with exp., transferred on the left part of the chamber has been prepared. The model serially was not issued..."

On the second reference it is mentioned Kiev 16... Interestingly what is it?

Some of these Arsenal lens were made in m42, but very few, basically the bayonet fitting for the Kiev 10/15mount was changed for screw. I'm not sure if the J9 was one of them, but there was a trial run of Mir-1 lenses made like that. They look very similar to this, there was one on ebay a while ago

The good set, but in the complete set does not suffice Jupiter-9 Avtomat and Granit-11.

It looks brand new also.

I think Granit with Kiev 10/15 mount is impossible to get anywhere.

Early objective of Granit-11 to find simply,
http://cgi.ebay.com/Russian-lens-GRANIT-11-M42-zoom-pentax-zenit-contax_W0QQitemZ350177282888QQihZ022QQcategoryZ3323QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
and here the replaceable tail adapter for Kiev-10/15 rare.

Yes, it is a good yellow case, and at me modest black Smile . If not to hasten, it is possible to buy much more cheaply, in Russia it happens for 40-60$.
