Took this with the Pentacon Lydith this morning in the garden anybody have an idea what the flower is?

Looks to me as a tulip ... a special one but a tulip nonetheless.

I believe it is referred to as a species tulip. One of the original strains that were used to create the current bulbs. I have a few in my backyard as well. I'm sure there is a technical name for them.

I agree its probably a tulip of some kind it just took me by surprise this morning when I saw it Very Happy
