Orio
If you were not so talented I could be jealous of your magnificent lens collection. But you really know how to use them

Geez, these are with the Contax G2? I feel like tearing down all my pictures! Laughing Stunning set, Orio!

Orio, I can never get enough of your STYLE, your OUTLOOK, and your COMPOSITIONAL interpretations. Simply said, you have a certain "look" that's all your own in the realm of photography. Simply stunning work.

I LOVE the color nuances of the Ferrania film! Shocked In shot #17 (Biogon 21), just LOOK at the beautiful color renditions of the reddish bricks sitting sweetly under that golden glow. Outstanding.

Thank you my friends for all the very kind words.

I think these crops prove that with proper scanning, film cameras and good lenses still have a lot to say even in this digital age.

Especially if we consider that I have used 200 ISO and 400 ISO hand-held.
With a good clean 100 ISO on tripod, the results could be even better.

This is the best possible compliment for me. I hope I can deserve it.
I know I will never be a master of photographic technique, but I hope that in my little play-yard, I can make pictures that are and look like "my own".
I would and could not ask for more. Thank you!

Since I'm on a "roll", be assured that I think I could possibly pick your images out of a group based on style. Maybe I wouldn't be correct every time, but I'll bet a majority of the time I would recognize your work.

I'll try to put a "finger" on it and explain to you...it never hurts to have another photographer expound what he sees.

A case in point is #2 (Planar 35). You seem to have a propensity to include diagonals in your images whenever possible. I can go back to earlier images of yours and see that you try to include those diagonals. These add tension to the image and lead the eye throughout the image.

If lack of words are prevalent for me, I would say that overall there is a sense of balance. Images #2, 9, and 11 show a combination of diagonal elements and balance.
