This slide film keeps amazing me. Its color rendition is incredible. Here's a shot of a forest flower made week or two ago. It was somewhat cloudy day and the light was rather flat. Here's what I've got on the slide.



And here's crop of this picture, 1200 dpi scan as far as I recall:

Really abstract - nice!

I have Velvia loaded in two cameras: the Yashica 35mm (Velvia 100) and the Pentacon 6 (Velvia 50). I will use them both this weekend.

Yes, Velvia films have a reputation! Vivid and intense colours. You did well to use this film on a hazy day. Used in sunshine, the colours will be too intense (in my opinion!).

Which cam/lens did you use?

Thailand is Velvia country... very intense colors indeed, this is actual saturation no postprocessing (Velvia 100, older recipe)
