CZJ 180mm f/2.8 Sonnar Electric repair

I need to repair this lens as it has a defective diaphragm (the ring does move but there's no diaphragm action both in A and M settings). I've tried to remove all visible screws at the M42 side, but the back part did not come off at all.

Question: would I need to acces the diaphragm through the front group? I hope not as I don't yet have any means to remove the front ring Sad

Thanks for your reply, I knew your post (very informative!) but I'm not sure where to start. Facts are:

- The A/M switch does nothing
- The diaphragm actuator pin can be pressed but does nothing
- The diaphragm ring does nothing but can be moved

So it seems I'll need to remove the front group first and go from there. Too bad but it should be a good excercise for me.
