Here's one of my favorite creeks of my childhood. The water is pure, the trout are plentiful to this day!

Larry,

Your photos always seem to take me away to another place.
I do not think you can ask for anything more from a photo.

Thanks for sharing!

Its like a image out of this world.

What a place Shocked

Not the best scan, or maybe the size is a little to big.

Thanks all of you!

Regarding the scan, I agree that it is not the best of scans...I now feel that I should have enabled
the "in scanner" sharpening mode, as it actually does a good
job of edge sharpening - just what this image needed in my opinion.

I also think that the "focus" in the scanner is "off" for
some reason, although it has been fine up until the
last 4 or 5 images. So, there is room to adjust, and
that's one thing I will do.

The overriding fact here is that I am NOT very skillful
with Photoshop yet, and I think that the image could
have used some manipulation to bring out the best.

But even at that - the sheer beauty of the place provides
an opportunity for ANY image, whether from a
point-and-shoot or a full blown DSLR.

Speaking of that....what a GREAT place for a 4x5, or 5x7,
or 8x10 view camera with some Velvia! Shocked

In the meantime, just move your chair back about 5 feet
from the monitor, and the image will look better! Razz
