Larry,
Your photos always seem to take me away to another place.
I do not think you can ask for anything more from a photo.
Thanks for sharing! _________________ Michael Hill |

What a place
Not the best scan, or maybe the size is a little to big. _________________ Henrik

Thanks all of you!
Regarding the scan, I agree that it is not the best of scans...I now feel that I should have enabled
the "in scanner" sharpening mode, as it actually does a good
job of edge sharpening - just what this image needed in my opinion.
I also think that the "focus" in the scanner is "off" for
some reason, although it has been fine up until the
last 4 or 5 images. So, there is room to adjust, and
that's one thing I will do.
The overriding fact here is that I am NOT very skillful
with Photoshop yet, and I think that the image could
have used some manipulation to bring out the best.
But even at that - the sheer beauty of the place provides
an opportunity for ANY image, whether from a
point-and-shoot or a full blown DSLR.
Speaking of that....what a GREAT place for a 4x5, or 5x7,
or 8x10 view camera with some Velvia!
In the meantime, just move your chair back about 5 feet
from the monitor, and the image will look better! _________________
