I hope fujifilm will not see this awful digital noise and artifacts; not a good advertising for film, is this 3200 iso ?

it's not film, it's a frame of Bibble
I'm afraid the B&W conversion has boosted noise too much.
The original was a 1000 ISO from 50D

It's a Super shot.
The grain/noise is fine for me.
How is it going with Bibble?
I down loaded a trial but then became busy and have yet to try it.

Thanks guys
Attila Jr. is not used to being photographed, and so he makes funny faces Smile

I like Bibble. But having shot almost exclusively with the 50D lately, I had no opportunity to really use it, because 50D is not supported yet.

I don't think I'll give up photoshop entirely like Patrick did. However my Noise Ninja license works inside Bibble, too. So really my need of Photoshop will decrease substantially for most of my shots.

Very nice, Orio, the cat seems to be settling in just fine! I use Bibble for
everything including processing scans.

BTW, nice avatar! Smile

Thanks Bill! I have fun rotating the avatars every now and then Smile

"Attilino" is one of the funniest cats I have ever had (and had quite a few of them). He's totally funny. Sometimes I think he would be perfect in a Groucho film Laughing

One thing I like of Bibble, it lets you apply the plugins also to non raw images. So if you find a setting that you really like you can also apply it in post.

Actually it's one of the most credible B&W film simulation I saw, I also love the 5x4 film frame... and the cat of course Very Happy

Alessandro, I have done the B&W using the software you recommended, the Alien Skin Exposure 2. It really offers very good controls. If I could start with a lower ISO image, it would have probably been even better.
