A walk by the river

It has been raining all day, but I still felt an urge to try my luck with the camera (this time the D70 and the 100mm E series).
In order not saturate this forum with brown and yellow leaves, I tried a couple of B/W this time. Digital B/W is rather new to me, so the conversions might not be the best.

Unfortunately we don't live exactly by the waterfront. The houses there always seem to be a bit too expensive. But it's not that far away and certainly a nice walk.

I find it more difficult with the scenes as well. It's easy the get them cluttered with too much details.

Thanks all for your kind remarks. I'm glad i didn't go totally wrong with the B/W:s

No Sven you did a great job with the B+W. That little nikon lens is a real charmer and does a great job in the hands of someone who enjoys it. Thanks

Nice presentation.
I love the second one.
It is surely very nice in full size.

Thanks again guys!
I really value your opinion.

The 100mm Series E seems to be a somewhat disguised performer. It looks and feels a bit cheap, but performs quite nicely and hasn't let me down yet.
