Question about Chinon macro

Yesterday I got some lenses, and found this one. Looks interesting for me:

Who made it? Have you got any experience? The f1.7 and good focus min. is interesting at first sight. I can use it only on f1.7, some problem with blades or mechanism. What do you think - keep and repair or sell?

(I will try it before sell of course... Very Happy )

It would be nice to fix it. I never heard about this one. Might be made by Chinon itself, although I didn't saw it on their catalogues on the end of thir camera manuals . Really don't know Sad

I've never heard of this lens, though I have many of those. Embarassed
Could you show us the side view too please. I wonder what "macro" means
in this case. True macro or "close focus"?

watch this http://enjoyphotolife.com/board/bbs/board.php?bo_table=review&wr_id=3910&sca=%B7%BB%C1%EE
and http://forum.mflenses.com/today-i-got-a-porst-55mm-f1-2-mc-pentax-k-lens-t4102.html#31802 . The Porst could be the same lens.

Sorry Koji, I can't make pictures now. It's rather close focus, min is 0.28m. A bit better than my industar 61.

Thanks for the links montecarlo, yes it can be the same as on the camera at the top. As I see the samples this lens is calibrated for close focus, and works fine at this range.

Yeah, but I ma just curious about this lens. Recent trip to Japan brought me
Porst K-mount 55/1.2 lens from my close friend in Tokyo.

I ordered K->EF adaptor, but have not got it yet. And I may have to
shave 5D's mirror, too many thing are going on now.

And so on and on...
