Hi!

The postman broght a package from Belgium, inside was the MIR-38 3.5/65. (Thanks, Steven!)
Gosh, that's a beautiful and huge lens! Looks great on an EOS.

The only problem I have is that it doesn't really fit to my P6-M42-adapter (which works perfectly with the Volna-3).

I can mount the adapter to the lens, but I cannot turn the ring that secures the adapter at the lens.

Does anybody have an idea?

The bayonet of the MIR-38 looks exactly like the one of the Volna-3.

It is one of my sharpest lenses - and you know I have some very good ones.

You will love it I am sure.

Unfortunately, I can be of no help.

I have been contemplating on getting this one for a while. Please post pictures when you manage to get this resolve.

However this problem is strange, I can mount my MIR-36B with the Canon-PS adapter with no problem.

Yes, weird indeed. Confused
I have ordered a P6-EOS adapter today. Perhaps this one works better...
