LOVELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO they became friends!!

I will show it to Monica - she fears that my Melissa and her Attila will never become friends when we will live together.

Thanks, Attila and Orio! Yes, they are friends, my older cat is pretty much
the boss and the younger cat accepts it.

Today I turned everything down in the Pentax. He had one program that
saturation, sharpness, contrast was boosted, and I adjusted them to where
everything is in the middle or "0".

Neat shot! Makes me want cats again. Well, I have 3 feral cats that live here but house cats are great.
I do the same thing with my 40D set everything to "0" and do whatever in PS so I can choose instead of my camera.

Thanks, Jules, there's a couple cats in the back barn that are feral, and once
in a while my Maine Coon goes back there to check things out. He always
reappears without a mark on him so I guess they have an understanding. Wink

Here's a few more using a Super Tak 1.4/50 and a Zeiss extension tube:

Last shot is a pecan, looks like I'll have quite a harvest due to all the rain
we've been getting! Very Happy

Really sweet image of your pussy pals.
I love the last bunch also.
There is always something about these Pentax shots that get me.
It's color or color depth. I don't know how to explain what I see but I like it.
Seems that Pentax sensor and engine looks the most organic if that makes sense.

Wow, this is as close as close to a cat can get without him printing his nose on the lens! Surprised

Andy, it seems to me to look more film-like, if I dare make that statement.
I really love the colors!

Orio, yes, I was very close on that first shot second bunch. Laughing

Thanks for you comments, fellas.

I wanted to add, also the Pecan looks great.
Deep green and detail, great macro.

That is from a cat that wouldn't let Bill get near it a few months ago!

Wow!!! Those are nice Bill.

Thanks, guys!

Mike, the cat soon figured out who feeds him! Laughing

What camera have you used for these shots, Bill?
I really love the colours.

Orio, this is using the Pentax *istD, first one in the *ist series. Really am
liking this cam, especially with the vertical battery grip that I leave on all
the time.

I see, I always liked the colours of Pentax DSLR.

Great ones Bill. Those cats look like a lot of fun. Ours are not friendly, but tolerate each other to the point of sharing a food bowl, but they don't socialize like that

Orio, now that I got all the programs adjusted to zero including in-camera
noise reduction, I am liking the colors too!

Patrick, thanks, the cats are great company while the wife is away. Not a
replacement, mind, but definitely better than the four walls... Wink
