Note in the last detail the almost complete lack of any flare in spite of the high contrast between petals and foliage.
Also absent are any other typical contrast-derived defects such as "sensor blooming".

Mine has seen little use.

I think that modern tessar & sonnar have the same qualities
it is the planar who give this defect WO
it would be interesting to compare this lens to the contax 45:2.8

Andy, I recalled you bought one but never really talk about it. I think, I was watching that same one you bought, but was too rich for my blood.

I file the flange off my adapter to use on the Tessar 3.5/50. It doesn't look nice but does the job.
