Inspired by threads today and a PM from Geoff about this model.
I pulled the trigger on this one.
Half the price of a Contax but a bit different. We will find out how different soon.
It is from the same era and Barrel style as the 1.4/85 I have.
I only hope the condition and performance is the same.
Nice price for a mint one (if it is indeed mint) Very Happy
I am done for the year with this one.
Don't even tempt me Rolling Eyes Laughing

Thanks Guys!
Yes I am very curious also.
Here is are 2 samples showing the rough but nice textured Bokeh again.
It is not for everything, not for everyone, but I like it and think it is a nice brush for the palette.
Thanks to whomever took these shots.
They are from a Flikr memeber I don't know them sorry.

this is decidedly out of the ordinary bokeh!
I'm not sure that I like it based on these images - but perhaps it's not ideal for the subjects in these photos, which are very sweet.
I look forward to your own images. Smile

Good luck! Can you define 'the year' for me? Is it calendar, fiscal or something else.

That is a very nice Zeiss 35mm lens, but dang...You paid more $ for that one lens than I paid for my Nikon F3HP, MD4 Motordrive, SB12 Speedlight, and Nikon 43-86mm lens. Shocked
