This park is part of the Washington State parks Deception pass area.
There are actually several parks run by the state in this area.
I love these spots as they are just 5 mins drive or 40mins walk for me and the daggs.
All of these are with the 40D and a Zuiko 3.5/21 and 2/85.
Nice day, Intense light, and Silver nose Zuikos lenses.
The 3.5/21 an 2/85 gave a really impressive performance considering the light.
I hope you like them. Full size on request.

Man thats good !

That 21 is lovely.

It doesn't look like anythings blown out or shadowed away. Do you shoot raw or jpeg ?

Polarizer ?

Wow, love the diversity of the landscape: rocky sparse pines and dense firs almost near to each other.
And of course, the Olympus wide speaks for itself.

Great series Andy - you really had fun. I love the way the entire PNW is covered by a network of these state parks from NoCal right into Canada. Some of the finest scenery anywhere in the world and hopefully protected.

Thanks All for the input.
These were actually only meant as test shots for these FS lenses.
They came out pretty nice.

@Luis
I shoot only in Raw although I may start shooting the DRF in B+W Jpeg.
It has some pretty nice built in settings and meters like a "real" camera so you can count exposures to be as you set them.
Also No CPL on these. I was a bit surprised by a couple that looked like a CPL was in use. The zuikos are pretty nice. And these two are single coated Shocked

@ Patrickh
Yes the North West Coast is really a treat. I think what is protected is probably pretty safe.
It sure would be great to bring some more of this Beautiful place into the park systems Smile

1st, excellent photography, excellent indeed!
2nd, that 21 really impresses me even in these small size images with the amount of natural detail, that mandelbrot thing... detail in detail in detail...
3rd, the 85 I'm familiar with as I have one, but you sure got something extra good out of it.

The 21 shots are my favorites in the series

Very nice landscape shots! I do not care what lens made them.

Beautiful captures! Very , well done. Oly 21mm a Nr.1 lens to me. I rate higher than 18mm.

Excellent series, I really like the flower shots 8,12, and 13. Like the Velvia
sky in some of these, too. Wink

Great work, Andy! Smile
