To keep or not to keep?

Probably a lot of similar questions are been asked here but here comes mine Smile
In a few months my MF lens collection grew more than I had expected and I can't justify having more than one lens in a focal length so here is my question: should I keep them all or sell some of them?

[ Prices are their total owning costs to me and they are all USD ]
Zoom:
----------------------
1- 80 : Tamron Adaptall2 80-210 / 3.8-4, M42
2- 45 : Tamron Adaptall2 SP 70-210/3.5-4 (52A), Rollei QB
--> I guess no need to keep 1 but I spent a lot to it because I've bought it from a camera store in Istanbul for being LN clean ans having a not so much found M42 Adaptall.

135mm:
----------------------
1- 100 : Pentacon Auto 135/2.8, M42
2- 70 : (Carl Zeiss) Rollei Sonnar 4/135, Rollei QB (just bought from Paul, will come from Germany)
3- 100 : Rolleinar 2.8/135, Rollei QB (just bought from Paul, will come from Germany)
--> 3 definitely stays Smile I'm curious about 2 but I guess I should sell 1 cause I don't use it much often even now.

85mm:
1- 140 :(Carl Zeiss) Rollei Sonnar 2.8/85, Rollei QB (just bought from Paul, will come from Germany)
--> No opponents so this one stays Smile

50mm:
----------------------
1- 60 : Minolta Rokkor-X 50/1.4, Minolta MD
2- 55 : (Carl Zeiss) Rollei Planar 1.8/50, Rollei QB (just bought from Paul, will come from Germany)
3- 40 : Rollei Planar 50/1.8 HFT, Rollei QB
4- 80 : Asahi Pentax Super Takumar 50/1.4, M42
--> Minolta is a great lens but definitely I can't use it on my 400D so it'll go. Rollei Planar is a very good lense as I know so far so I guess keeping it would be a better choice.

28mm:
----------------------
1- 35 : Olympus Zuiko 28/3.5
2- 40 : Tamron Adaptall-2 28mm F/2.5 (02B), Rollei QB
3- 60 : Vivitar/Kiron 28/2, Minolta MD
--> Vivitar looks like to be sold as it is Minolta MD and I can just use it as reversed macro lens in which it's quite good but as I'm using at f:16 others will also perform similar.

Or should I also keep the Minoltas and buy an Olympus E-330 or E-1 or make a universal adapter like the "XXX-4/3 adapter" (we have the knowledge, equipment and the passion Smile ) for EOS.

It all depends on how you feel about them. In life we do a lot of things that are not "necessary", but we do them for our own enjoyment. For someone is having many dresses, for another one is collecting postage stamps, and so on.
If having your lenses gives you enjoyment, keep them; if you don't feel for them and only want the tools that you need to make photos, sell them.

They are all nice lenses, surely for more price you can take better ones. All dependent what makes you happy. Mostly a little quality jump has high price difference and mostly we pay for that Wink
