You did justice to a great little lens, Carsten.

To me looks a fine quality combo as well!

Very nice Carsten
I would love to have this lens in this mount
It's very hard to find in the US and shipping doubles the price from FSU and EU sellers

It is a great lens and by no means weaker than my Industar-61 (as some say). With the additonal extra stop (f2 instead of f2.8 ) the J8 will be my standard lens for the FED-3b, I guess.

Cheers! My lab is great with C-41 type 135 film (but it really sucks with medium format film!).

You should try to find the "Jupiter-12 2.8/35" for Andy, a fantastic little lens!

Yes the J9 for RF can be really very good and for the price amazing
The CZ 2/80 sonnar is absolutely insane priced
I don't care for the reflex J9 very much
It is not the images but rather the lens in use is not very responsive

Carsten how do you like the Fed 3
Is the rangefinder base long enough for lenses over 50mm?
I'm not very familiar with these Russian copies Rolling Eyes

I don't know, I have never shot with more than 53mm on the FED-3b.
But somehow I doubt that it will be fun...

$499 for 10 J8?? That's about $50 for one! Far too expensive!
However, the black ones also look nice. Wink
