I was supposed to be washing dishes but was distracted and had to play in the water instead.

Most where shot with a 105mm F2.8 "Dine" macro or 200mm micro nikkor .

Thanks for the comments. The water drops are really easy to do with a digital because you can just delete the ones you miss. I get about 1 in 10 that are "keepers". It's a lot of fun when you can't get out of the house to shoot anything else.

Yes, the first one was indeed shot with the Kiron/Dine 105mm. I tried a 55mm but was too close and got splashes on the lens. OK with water but bad with the milk drops. I think anything between 100-200mm would be fine.

If you look close at the setup that was taken with Nikon D50, 18-200VR and cameras onboard flash hand held. All set on auto mode and it still got a drop.
