I just used JPEG output from Sony NEX5, manual focus with AE mode.

This Biogon works well with NEX5, no corner smearing problem.






This place is a very small part of Tokyo called Sugamo, quite typical residential market except famous shrine.
This lens is definitely better than kit zoom 18-55 lens of course, but the colour is largely depending on the camera.

My fave is the #3 of the missus. You always make me miss Japan with these

Although teh results looks rather good, that combination rather looks like a lens with attached little camera than teh other way round ... Very Happy Very Happy

Well, this in fact was to be expected, since the NEX5 being an APS-C camera only uses the central part of the frame.

Thanks Orio. I now use RAW format for NEX5.

I have checked many of my lenses with NEX, how the lenses handle well.

The results> http://www.pbase.com/kkawakami/inbox

In short, CV SWH 15/4.5 and G-Biogon 21/2.8 have some colour shifting
in the corners. Those are correctable by CornerFix program (fee soft).
The others have no problem so far, all those SLR's lenses should not
have any problem. Though I have not tested them. Razz
