ahhh... I love three-colour cats! They are my favourite (aesthetically speaking).

She's not as sweet tempered as she looks Wink I'm kind of fond of her though...

I've always liked 'blue' cats aesthetically.

Very nice "warm" capture.

Cat females often have stronger character than cat males.

You can say that again Orio - my tiny persian female (runt) really tells the much larger and younger male where to get off. While the little poodle looks on laughing..... Very Happy Very Happy

I'm just kidding of course. Michelle has little Paco. He also is very loyal and barks at everything. I owe Paco one debt though. Without him there I would have to talk to Michelle more often Twisted Evil

Right Sunshine - Missy is the perpetual companion who never says a wrong word. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hi all

Nothing but fog and rain here in the Port of Angels. Here are a couple indoor shots with the nikon 55 1.2. Both of the little fella (paco). One with his faithful provider and defender of all his wrong doings, miss Corzine. It is poorly focussed but quite cute.
F2.8

Wide open I think

Both photos are lovely, but first one is also incredibly detailed!

Thanks Orio
The detail is very good. Now that I see the Jpeg here in the post I think maybe I de-saturated to much. It looks OK though like that. Pacos coat is a bit more of a red tone (warmer). I like this lens and my old copy is excellent. Hopefully I can find a better adapter for it. The one I have is a bit shite.

Both are great shots - each in its different way. Those old nikkors really take some beating - literally and figuratively. Very Happy Very Happy

Ferrets are hard to photograph...

Our newest addition. Just got him 2 days ago from a pet rescue organization. His name is "Brodie" & he's a one year old Maltese/Poodle mix

Low contrast and busy bokeh, but I like my Rikenon Smile

Here's another shot using a Vivitar Series One 35-85mm F2.8..I used 1/60 shutter, between 5.6-8 aperture, an SB600 speedlight on 1/2 power manual setting & a Stofen Omni-Bounce
