Here's an example from Velvia 100F. I think that Velvia 100F, as opposed
to Velvia 50, is very slightly warmer; the green tends to more of a yellow
than with Velvia 50.
Good old Yashica Mat of course. You have to love the Yashinon 80/3.5.

Great Laurence! That's detailed green!
I think so, the Velvia 100F is warmer than Velvia 50, I like it much more, it's harmonic.
Have you tried the Velvia 100 (without F)? _________________

Yes, Velvia 100F is almost luminous, and a good appllication for green
foliage, especially if the foliage is more toward a "yellow-green" than
a "blue-green".
I will show Velvia 100 soon.
I know that there are online comments that Velvia 100 is "not good",
compared to 100F or 50, but I highly doubt that. Again, I think
it's a matter of where you are going to use it.

Here's a quick scan from Velvia 100. It is more of a "bluish" cast than
either Velvia 100F or Velvia 50. Extremely tight grain, and very easy
to scan.
The lens helps too - this is the Pentax-A 150/3.5. The out-of-focus
highlights in the background are rich and creamy, while the details
are exceedingly sharp wide-open with this fine lens.

What a great sample! As you said, it's a matter of where you are going to use it. And here it serves perfect.
I have two rolls in the fridge and I need to try them, wow. _________________

Wow, what a brilliant green! I think this might be the first example of Velvia 100F I've seen. Marvelous, Laurence!
(I like the colors produced in the Velvia 100, too.) Beautiful shots! |
